Matchmakers Deep Reef (Maddie). Matchmaker x Derry Reef. 15hh 1995 bay tobiano CHAPS (UK) graded mare. We have owned this mare for 11 years now and is currently on breeding loan to The Pferde Stud. She is a wonderful producer of foals, having given us 3 beautiful foals by Allbany, Harroway Mr Harlequin and Utah Van Erpekom. An extremely versatile mare that crosses well with both pony and horse stallions.

Maddie produced an amazing black tobiano colt foal to Allbany in 2009 for the Pferde Stud, he is a full brother to Heiland Burberry Check. Pferde Stud Matisse won the prestigious foal futurity final at the CHAPS (UK) Championship, a wonderful achievement. We are very proud of our mare and very happy for Darren and Karen of The Pferde Stud who thoroughly deserved that.

Windy City E (Windy). Wind Dancer x Peppermint Peppy. 15hh 2006 black tobiano German Warmblood Mare. We have just recently purchased this little lady and hope to both breed from her and show her in the future.

Windy went to the CHAPS Champs and came home passing her mare grading at star level, being reserve champion broodmare and champion sporthorse/pony.

Windy produced a stunning homozygous black tobiano filly by Commanche Ace in March 2011. We then took both Windy and foal (Dottie) to the CHAPS Champs 2011 where Windy won her broodmare class and was reserve champion broodmare.

Since the foal has been weaned Windy has been backed and is now ridden away, enjoying life hacking and being an all rounder. We aim to show her under saddle either later this year or next.

Little Miss Muffett. (Maguerita) Tonka Toy x Celeste. 2099 13.2hh black tobiano filly. This super little filly was recently purchased from our good friend Jayne Purcell-White and was bred by Andrea Betteridge of Meadow Farm UK. She has fantastic blood lines in her pedigree with DNA verified parentage including Tonka and Lottery. Maguerite has been scanned in foal to Commanche Ace and we eagerly await her June foal.

Abbeywoods Colour Me In (Moomin) Commanche Ace x Molly Mop. 2010 black tobiano traditional filly to make 14hh. This delightful filly kept us waiting before she appeared into the world 27th May! She is a full sister to Oakleaves Magic Jeanie and we hope to retain this filly as a future show horse and broodmare. Moomin has already had a fab start to her showing career and we hope to continue this in 2012.

Abbeywoods Aphrodite. Commanche Ace x Windy City E. 2011 homozygous black tobiano filly to make 14.2hh. This lovely filly will be retained by the stud for showing and breeding in the future. At the 2011 CHAPS Championship show she won her foal class and then went on to be 2nd overall in the very prestigious foal futurity final. She also won the foal section of the Breeders Challenge class and took 2nd reserve champion against horses and ponies of all ages.
